Mark Chaudoir
Mark is a D&AD Gold winning Design and Performance director famed for his iconic number ‘2’ idents for the BBC.
After an extensive career at the BBC & Red Bee Media which saw him win over 50 international awards, Mark joined the Mob and has since directed campaigns for Rightmove for Hooper Galton, on location in an African game reserve with acclaimed movie cinematographer Barry Ackroyd (Bafta winner for Hurt Locker), and also the worldwide world cup brand campaign for Castrol Magnatec by Ogilvy Singapore.
Mark often works at the cutting edge of post production, camera and filming techniques, having recently directed Saudi Arabia’s first 3D TV commercial for Saudi Telecom for Leo Burnett Dubai. He’s also directed two performance commercials with Paddy McGuinness for Victor Chandler.
He has an MA in Graphic Design from The Royal College of Art & went onto creating multi award winning work for the BBC, including the iconic BBC Two ‘number 2′ idents. Mark’s directing style is diverse, ranging from performance, documentary, complex technical motion control & CGI work. He has also travelled the globe filming and in 2008 made a prestigious film promo for the Beijing Olympics, filming with an entirely Chinese film crew and completing all post in Beijing.
