Multi award winning features director who over 15 years has directed major brand campaigns for everything from the iconic Darth Vader ‘Tunes’ ad to ‘Greggs The Bakers’.

Vadim has shot campaigns for brands such as Iceland, VW, Ponds, Greggs the Bakers, Chessington World of Adventures and Yorkshire Water and is currently slated to direct the feature thriller called ‘Limousine’ starring Kelsey Grammer.

He has established himself as one of London’s leading commercial directors with campaigns for London’s top agencies including DLKW, Hooper Galton, BBH, M&C Saatchi, Ogilvy & Mather, St Lukes & TBWA. Campaigns have included Iceland, Ponds, VW, Greggs The Bakers, Blockbuster Video, Kodak, Woolworths and the COI.

Vadim and The Mob are behind the Terry Pratchett Discworld TV adaptations which won 2 Bafta’s for The Hogfather & The Colour of Magic and recently aired the third, Going Postal – one of the biggest single drama commissions in British television for Sky One which also won 2 RTS awards in 2010. His debut feature Leon the Pig Farmer won many awards including the Evening Standard British film award for best newcomer.

2009 saw Vadim shoot the documentary ‘In The Land of the Free’ The documentary examines the story of Herman Wallace, Albert Woodfox and Robert King. They are known as the Angola 3 and have spent almost a century between them in solitary confinement in Angola, the Louisiana State Penitentiary. Herman and Albert are still held in solitary confinement after thirty seven years. The case of the Angola three first came to international attention following the campaigning efforts of the Body Shop founder and humanitarian Anita Roddick. Vadim Jean who had become good friends with Roddick and her husband Gordon during an earlier film project says “Anita’s big thing was, ‘Just do something,’” so he did. The documentary has been critically acclaimed as the “Best Documentary of 2010″ by The London Evening Standard.
