Jessops have launched a short film competition which is to be judged by a panel of award winning Directors from The Mob Film Company, chaired by Paul WS Anderson.
The competition is open to everyone and aims to promote the talents of grass roots film makers. Paul summed it up well when he said: “This is a great opportunity for young film makers. It’s not about who attends the best film school, it’s about pure talent. Please have a go, I have some fantastic judges working with me on this awesome project, we are all really looking forward to seeing some excellent entries.”
These sentiments were echoed by Jessops Marketing and PR Manager, Annabel Howard, who added, “Jessops has always been passionate about photography. But today’s technology means that cameras are no longer limited to just taking stills. For us, this competition is about showcasing the capabilities of the modern camera – and discovering the filmmakers of the future too, of course. We can’t wait to see the results.”
