The Colour of Magic

Terry Pratchett’s The Colour of Magic premiered over Easter 2008 on Sky One and is The Mob Film Company’s second collaboration with Sky One and RHI Entertainment.

The show featured an incredible international cast and starred David Jason (Only Fools and Horses, Frost, Open All Hours), Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings, The Goonies) and Tim Curry (Rocky Horror Show, Valiant).

Supporting were an array of actors such as Nigel Planer, Jeremy Irons and David Bradley. The programme also saw a number of re-occurring faces from Terry Pratchett’s Hogfather such as Stephen Marcus, Arthur White and Nicolas Tennant.

The Colour of Magic was the second live action adaptation by The Mob Film Company of one of Terry Pratchett’s best selling Discworld novels. As before the programme was adapted and directed by Vadim Jean and produced by Ian Sharples and Rod Brown.
